The Kite Runner: A Review

Social realism perspective recognizes the fact of putting across the stories of the underprivileged as movies of this kind are not usually shown to the middle-class audience. Further, social realists may identify The Kite Runner’s attempt to contribute to social awareness by way of its historical backdrops and presentation of current material condition.

Dr. Edberto M. Villegas, a social science professor at the University of the Philippines Manila stated that “understanding a particular condition is way different to merely explaining it.”
