Forbes Magazine hailed golf as one of the world’s most expensive sports along with yacht racing, vintage auto racing, polo, aerobatics, shooting, cycling, adult hockey, mountaineering and combined driving.

According to costhelper.com, “higher-end sets cost as much as $800, while professional clubs can cost more than $1,000 for just irons, which make up only one component of a complete set.” Aside from its expensive equipment depending on the material used, golf as an activity requires vast meters of space or land area.
