Private legal practice is a career which renders service with pay. Most US lawyers today choose to take private service to win its material benefits.

Public lawyers get pro bono legal assistance from the national government. However, some of them manage to demand certain cost of money from their underprivileged clients. It is unacceptable to see public lawyers getting extra money out of their services, but analyzing the objective reality, this scenario can be seen as an effect of public lawyers’ condition of being overworked yet underpaid.
